Preowned Yves Saint Laurent  Skirt Suit

Stunning Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Silk Suit: Jacket and Skirt
.

Beautifully tailored fitted structured Jacket featuring peaked labels and 2 front flap pockets, still closed with original stitching. The jacket is fastened with a black ornate button, and there are 3 matching buttons on each sleeve.

This Yves Saint Laurent Skirt suit is a lovely shade of flattering deep sky blue and has a fabulous texture and shine to the material.

The matching Skirt has 2 side pockets and has been shortened by YSL in Bond Street London and could be lengthened again if required. There are 2 darts at the back and front of the skirt adding detail and structure.

The Suit was bought in the “Yves Saint Laurent Boutique Bond Street”>Yves Saint Laurent boutique in Bond Street, London,  in the 90s for over £4,500 and I have only worn it a few times.

The suit is fully lined and in excellent condition.  There are just 2 very small marks on the back and front of the skirt just below the waistline from a belt, which are hardly visible.

The Suit is 40% silk and 60% acetate, which gives the fabric more structure.

The Jacket Measurements: Length 25 ins (63Cm), Shoulder width 16 ins (40cm) Chest 36 -38 ins (91.5-96.5cm)

I believe this beautiful suit comes from the Spring Summer 1992 Collection.

Not to be missed.

Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge established the eponymous brand in 1962. In 1963, A. M Cassandre designed the logo. During the 1960s and 1970s, YSL popularized the beatnik look, safari jackets, tight trousers, and thigh high boots.

Yves Saint Laurent is one of EDG’s favourite designers. We are featuring Yves Saint Laurent Vintage Glitter Cat Eye Sunglasses, in striped Gold & Black, which are absolutely stunning.
